On 30 July Porsche Centre Silverstone hosted guests during round nine of the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain at Snetterton Race Circuit in Norfolk. The Porsche Carrera Cup GB is at the very apex of the UK motorsport scene. As the fastest one-make championship in the UK, the stunning cars and a magnitude of top teams make Porsche Carrera Cup GB an exciting addition to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
2017 sees the fifteenth consecutive year of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship which is made up of fifteen rounds. The 460 hp, six cylinder Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars raced on the redeveloped circuit at Snetterton which underwent multi-million pound changes in 2011, and has since hosted the British Touring Car Championship, British Superbike Championship, British Truck Racing Championship and British GT and F4 Championships.
On the day, guests were able to enjoy Porsche hospitality for the two races, a guided paddock tour, introduction to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Team including Scholar Charlie Eastwood, and get up close with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car. Guests also enjoyed the three Dunlop MSA British Touring Cars Championship races alongside all of the action brought to them by the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
