On 9 July, Porsche Centre Silverstone was delighted to welcome over 90 guests to our Experience Porsche event.
Experience Porsche is an informal open day that gives our guests the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Porsche, many for the first time. In particular, we were thrilled to offer demonstration drives in the new 718 Boxster which continues the spirit of Porsche 718 era yet boast a more powerful and efficient four-cylinder ‘boxer’ engine.
Guests were also able to view the entire Porsche model range, take a tour of our showroom and workshop, and enjoy the variety of refreshments that were served throughout the day. The generous donation of Roy Smith’s classic 914 for the event, gave guests the chance to learn about Porsche's history through our Porsche Classic display. We were particularly impressed with our young Porsche fans who designed the next Porsche on our Experience Porsche graffiti wall.
Karl Cinnamond, Centre Principal of Porsche Centre Silverstone said “It was fantastic to give so many people the chance to see how we run things here at Porsche Centre Silverstone. Hopefully we will see the guests who attended on the day again soon, and would like to invite anyone who couldn't make it to visit us at the Centre another time."
You can visit our Facebook page to see photos from the day.
If you were unable to join us, we would be delighted to offer you the chance to take a demonstration drive in the Porsche of your choice. Please email email@example.com or call the Centre on 01327 355 911 to discuss your requirements.
*Data determined in accordance with the measurement method required by law. Since 01 September 2018 all new cars are approved in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). You can find more information on WLTP at
. From 01 January 2019, all fuel consumption figures are shown as determined in accordance with WLTP. CO₂ figures will be shown as NEDC-equivalent values, as CO₂ based taxation will continue to be based on an NEDC value (derived from WLTP) until 06 April 2020. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
