Porsche news update – the new Panamera Sport Turismo

22/3/2017

In the latest edition of Porsche news update, we are delighted to present the new Panamera Sport Turismo.

Debuting a new body style, the first of its kind in the sports saloon segment, the new Panamera Sport Turismo strikes an unrivalled dynamic balance between career, family, leisure and driving pleasure. Its 4+1 seat concept, increased headroom and legroom and a large luggage compartment, combine with superior sportiness to offer excellent day-to-day usability and a design that sets new standards not just at Porsche.

Powered by a new generation of engines, the Sport Turismo models achieve maximum performance from either a V6 turbo, V6 twin-turbo or V8 twin-turbo engine, all with the 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission as standard, providing the acceleration you would expect from a sports car. Chassis control systems like Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport) or rear axle steering enhance the driving experience and increase safety. With Porsche Connect standard on all Panamera Sport Turismo models, you can also stay connected to the digital world wherever your journey takes you.

The Sport Turismo models are available to order now, with first deliveries in the UK and Ireland from October 2017.

In this edition, we also explore the new 911 GTS models and the new 911 GT3*, as well as look ahead to the start of this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship which will see Porsche aiming for a historic 19th overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

You can learn more about the new Sport Turismo models in the latest Porsche news update or by visiting our dedicated Sport Turismo web special for more details.
